CareCredit is conveniently accepted at over 200,000 healthcare providers nationwide. You can use it to help pay for various types of treatment such as dermatology and cosmetic procedures, LASIK, and veterinary expenses. It works just like a credit card.
After you’re approved, you can begin using CareCredit right away. In some cases, you can even choose an interest-free financing plan. Make sure you stay up to date with your payments to avoid penalty charges. You can also use CareCredit to help pay for deductibles or expenses that aren’t covered by insurance.
CareCredit reports that people with a score of 623 or higher are more likely to be approved. Some patients have been approved with a credit score as low as 600. If you’re interested in applying for CareCredit, you can call (800) 677-0718 or visit their website.
At first, you’ll see a dip in your credit score, as you would with any hard inquiry on your credit report. However, it should drop off within a year or so. If you keep up with your scheduled payments, you can actually build your credit with CareCredit.
If you don’t have dental insurance, our practice offers a Dental Perks Membership Program. After paying a one-time membership fee, you’ll receive discounts on all the treatments we offer, with the exception of orthodontics.
